The Rocky Mountain Map Society’s Annual Rocky Mountain Map Fair

From the Carto-SOC listserv: Sixth Annual Rocky Mountain Antique Map Fair — Join us at Denver Central Library on Friday and Saturday, September 15th and 16th.  – If you’re lucky enough to be in the area, why not check it out? I would, but I’m not. Presented by the Rocky Mountain Map Society:

See thousands of maps from the 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. Some are very rare. All have stories to tell. Prices range from $10 to $10,000.  See history graphically. Find where your family originated. Indulge your travel fantasies. See California as an  island! Collect a piece of history. Antique maps are art, history, and  mystery joined wonderfully together.
