NPR Covers the Smiley Sentencing

National Public Radio (NPR) had a report by Diane Orson on its Morning Edition today. It can be heard here. There are brief interviews with rare book dealer Bill Reese and Dr. Clive Field of the British Library. Field says that in the future, people who are interested in antique map collections might not be able to have the access to them that they should because of Smiley’s betrayal of the trust upon which libraries have operated.
